Environmental Testing

We provide an extensive range of services pertaining to Environmental Testing by our panel of expert professionals available with us. Our service range includesNoise (Sound Level) Testing, Light Intensity (Lux-Candle) Testing, Suspended Particles TPS Testing, Breathable Particle PM Testing, Heat Stress Testing, Gases Emission Testing, Gases Emissions and Vapors from the Generator Chimneys Testing, Gases Emissions and Vapors from the Boiler Chimneys Testing.

1- Noise (Sound Level) Testing

If you’ve built a business, you know that your employee’s health and welfare is a critical part of your business’s overall wellness. The fact is, that workers who are exposed to high levels of noise are susceptible to long-term hearing loss as well as other health related issues. In addition to the physical and emotional toll this can take upon your employee, it can potentially put your business at risk for costly and time-consuming workers compensation actions. The only way to be sure that your employees and partners are safe is to have workplace noise level testing done at your facility.

At Qualitech we specialize in coming out to your workplace and performing noise work place testing of the equipment and processes in your factory. We measure all kinds of noises ranging from heavy industrial equipment to heavy metal bands! We use the very techniques specified by OSHA, MSHA, and other regulatory bodies to make sure that your employees, partners, and patrons are safe. If there are violations, it’s best that YOU are the first person to know about it, rather than an agent from one of the regulatory bodies.

2. Light Intensity (Lux-Candle) Testing

Where lumens measure the amount of light a light source emits, lux tells how much that light source illuminates an object or workspace that is one square meter in area and placed one meter away from the light source. Lux meters, or light meters, determine the amount of available light in either luxes or in foot-candles (illuminance of one square foot area, located one foot from a light source)

3- Suspended Particles TPS Testing

This method uses a high-volume sampler to collect particles with aerodynamic diameters of approximately 100 μm or less. The high-volume samples 40-60 ft3/min of air with the sampling rate held constant over the sampling period. The high-volume design causes the TSP to be deposited uniformly across the surface of a filter located downstream of the sampler inlet. The TSP high-volume can be used to determine the average ambient TSP concentration over the sampling period, and the collected material subsequently can be analyzed to determine the identity and quantity of inorganic metals present in the TSP.

Research on the health effects of TSP in ambient air has focused increasingly on particles that can be inhaled into the respiratory system, i.e., particles of aerodynamic diameter less than 10 μm. The health community generally recognizes that these particles may cause significant adverse health effects.

4-  Breathable Particle PM Testing

Particulate matter (PM) is one of the most health-relevant indoor pollutants due to its association with respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. Particles can also act as a carrier for various harmful organisms present in the air of workplace, thus leading to airborne transmission of infectious diseases.

5- Heat Stress Testing

Qualitech provides the most accurate determination of the heat stress index based on the cumulative effect of air temperature, air movement, relative humidity, and radiant heat.

6- Emission Testing

Measurement of emissions is necessary to ensure compliance with emissions permits or regulatory limits. It can also be carried out for performance set-up purposes or to produce baseline or evaluation data. Qualitech performs measurement of environmental emissions from chimneys and stacks across a wide range of industries.

7- Gases Emissions and Vapors from the Generator Chimneys Testing

Measurement of emissions is necessary to ensure compliance with emissions permits or regulatory limits. It can also be carried out for performance set-up purposes or to produce baseline or evaluation data.

8- Gases Emissions and Vapors from the Boiler Chimneys Testing

Measurement of emissions is necessary to ensure compliance with emissions permits or regulatory limits. It can also be carried out for performance set-up purposes or to produce baseline or evaluation data.
